The Wall Street Journal thinks Sheryl Crow will convince me (currently the demographic it wants) to read it. The Journal is wrong. I already read it and if it thinks I want Sheryl Crow in my Journal, it is mistaken.

The other piece of this is that Sheryl Crow is an outspoken Bush critic, which is why having her on his iPod is notable.

Sheryl Crow used to be a backup singer for Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is also the name of a famous beer writer. Bush is a recovering alcoholic.

Djimon Hounsou danced in Janet Jackson videos and with Paula Abdul. Finding that out was rather a shock.

Keanu Reeves was in a Paula Abdul video too. And so, of course, was MC Skat Kat.

(I've got an MC Skat Kat 12-inch. Instrumentals and a cappellas and whatnot. When I'm debating whether to buy some borderline-appealing old record, especially a random-rap one, I remind myself of that fact.)
