I only have the usual broadcast channels including PBS, also TBS, WGN, Comedy Channel, USA and others of that ilk.

(Assuming you honestly watch what you put in your diary) Stay up for Craig Ferguson on after Letterman. If you get MSNBC, Olbermann needs your support. And I'd go for any 'Britcoms' on my local PBS station.

As far as game shows go, I like "1 vs. 100" on NBC friday nights - it has Bob Sagat being not-naughty, which is somehow very naughty! The contestants are pretty real, the format is novel, and the questions have surprising breadth.

But, eek, this is my chance to say what I think is really good. The reason I don't watch much TV is because of all the time wasted on crap just to find the single gem.

That's really the only TV I watch regularly anymore, which is kind of said because I love TV. There seems to be this huge quality gap these days, where the good shows are phenomenal and the bad ones are just unwatchable and there's not much in between.
