U.S. Mint officials hope they have overcome problems that doomed its two predecessors...

1. It's still a coin and thus harder to carry than a dollar bill.
2. There's still no place/slot for a dollar coin in the cash registers of America.

So what problems did they overcome exactly? I predict another failure.
