I can't believe I'm the only person who's noticed this. If you live in the UK (and Italy, supposedly), and you're campaigning for a father's right to see his child then the best fictional characters to model yourself on would appear to be orphans who, despite having no access to a father, show a deep moral sensibility. Don't believe me? [Images half way down page] also, [IronyFilter]
I must admit, the parentage of those comic book characters is not the first thing that would have leapt to my mind. I know the story behind Spiderman; what about Batman, Robin, Superman and... is that Mr Incredible?

My office is next door to the HQ of CAFCASS (Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service) so it's not unusual when I'm on my walk at lunchtime to see the odd Superhero on his way to their offices.

Only one day it turned out that Superman's destination was our building, and he was the complainant on one of my cases. Fortunately I keep a nugget of Kryptonite on my desk precisely for such occasions.
