TheDonF radio Mainly rock-type stuff, but not all.
This Teenage Fanclub song is fantastic.

I wish I was as knowledgeable about the music I love as paulsc is about his, but I'm not. So here's a load of links to sites instead:

UNKLE: Bloodstain from Psyence Fiction
Judah Johnson: Niagra Walls from Be Where I Be
The Dears: Bandwagoneers from Gang Of Losers
Ben Kweller: Penny On The Track from Ben Kweller
Teenage Fanclub: Ain't That Enough from Songs From Northern Britain
The Long Winters: Ultimatum from Putting The Days To Bed
Duels: Animal from The Bright Lights And What I Should Have Learned
Grant Lee Buffalo: Arousing Thunder from their best of, but was originally on Copperopolis

BP - it's from Songs From Northern Britain, probably my favourite album of theirs.

I thought this "Soundtrack of our Lives" song was the Who until I looked at my WinAmp window. (It was during the long intro.)

I'll check out that Teenage Fanclub album... I had one of theirs back in the day (called "13," I think?) and never much liked it.

Hey! This one sounds even MORE like the Who! :)

The Soundtrack Of Our Lives: Transcendental Suicide from Origin Vol.1
The Who: Won't Get Fooled Again from Who's Next

heh, yeah, TSOOL can sound quite Who-like on occasions. They're a really overlooked group but are rather fine. And this track is very Who-like. "None more Who!".

I'm not a huge fan of the earlier Teenage Fanclub stuff; they started getting good, for me at least, on Grand Prix.

The Hold Steady: Party Pit from Boys And Girls In America

Pete Droge & The Sinners: Brakeman from from Find A Door
My Morning Jacket: One Big Holiday from It Still Moves (check out Conan vid for some insane hair shaking)

Rocco Deluca & The Burden: Soul from I Trust You To Kill Me
Matthew Good: Oh Be Joyful from In A Coma

Malcolm Middleton: Loneliness Shines from Into The Woods
Sol Sleppy: Move from The Bells Of 1 2

That's me done. Thanks to those wot listened.

That was great, TheDonF- thanks!

Only caught the tail-end of this, but enjoyed what I heard!

Cool, thanks for the feedback :) I seemed to have missed a link to Viva Voce's stuff. So here's one

I listened to the first 30 minutes, but I wasn't a big Who fan their first time around. :-) But that's not your issue, TheDonF. Nevertheless, good set from what I heard, and it's great you're leaving links for those who ocme later (making it easy for people to find music you enjoy may help them enjoy it too!)

Cheers, Mr sc :) It was a fairly obvious Who track, but is one that I love, and from a rather fine album (although I guess we'll differ here!). It took me a while to get into them, and there's a few albums (apparently patchy ones) that I've yet to get.

Thanks for raising the bar in the DJ set stakes (mmmm, steaks...)

Looks like it was a great set, sorry to have missed it. mmmm...steaks, indeed.
