Holy crap! I just checked my address and it even has my car in the picture! (The last time I checked it showed the wrong block.)

I tried numerous address combinations to get that to work, but it didn't. Oh well. Still - it's another minor erosion of privacy, although slim.

TheDonF - I had to zoom out on the map from the Eiffel tower, drag the pointer across to Essex and then zoom in on my house. It wouldn't work with a UK address otherwise.

Ah, okay, thanks EJ - you'd have thought that it could have accepted long/lat pairings as well... Turns out that Google Maps still has terrible image quality for my part of the UK - it's just a blurred mess. Oh well, give it a year or so, I guess (although I said that last year)

seanyboy - I noticed the same thing when I was trying to do mine, although your link has a massive green tint to it, whereas my area of the UK seems to be surrounded by green fields.
