Please to help. Need game suggestions.[More:]
The gf and I are going here (YAY!) in February. It's off-season so the prices are great, but there won't be much to do. Besides, well, you know. What I'm looking for are suggestions for 2-player games to play while we're not wellyouknowing. What are your favorites?
Scrabble!

If you're into this sort of thing, lots of "adult" games on a site like Adam and Eve . . .

Or, Balderdash!

Oh the water's optional, mikey. The nudity, however, is not.

Balderdash for two? Less than riveting.

Cribbage really is a fine game. And the nasty competition might lead back to some vengeful youknowwhatting.

I second third and fourth chess, but then it's a huge fave of ours... um, is it hopelessly nerdy to admit that I find him ten times more adorable when he's madly strategifying to avoid losing his queen?

or does that just say weird stuff about my own issues... nevermind

Leaving more time for the old, you know.

I like cribbage too, but mainly I posted to say that the Corolla Inn's website made my eyes bleed.

Lemme chime in for cribbage, too. Though if you ain't so inclined, bring six dice and try bolo.

Or you could always teach her tegwar.

Does anybody remember the Happy Days episode when the Fonz, I think, has a date with a "nice girl," and he's back at Al's and he tells the gang, "I played her chess," and they're all like, "you played with her chest?" Or maybe it was Ritchie, or, I don't know, maybe it was at the Peach Pit, and it was Steve and Dylan, or... ah, forget it. I swear I remember this, but I was in grade school. Back then I thought my flying was just a dream. You know how that is.
