I just saw this duck on CNN! What a story... two days in a refrigerator??

Yeah, NPR talked about it this morning as well too. My first reaction was, Wow! Old story! But then there was the second near death experience to report.

If I were the hunter, though, I probably would have finished the job rather than taking it to the vet.

I want to adopt this duck.
I shall call him Rasputin.
Or maybe Lazerous.

It's a girl duck. Lazareena?

This is the first I have seen of this. Of course I want the duck to survive and have a great rest of its life (after what it went through) but I wonder if that guy will ever hunt again.

Plus, is it normal to put a duck in the fridge without dressing it out or plucking it first? It seems strange but then again I have never hunted.
