I'm drunk at work and it's quite possibly the greatest thing ever.→[More:]My coworker and I went to the pub two doors down and killed some beers because this day, this week, has been brutal as all hell. Now we're drinking rum and soda in the office. Awesome.

That sounds awesomely cool. It certainly beats nearly 11 hours of swearing at Internet Explorer for being the festering load of junk that it is. Wanna swap jobs? The weather's really, uh, toasty in the UK - you'll love it, it's like Hawaii or something.

Actually, it's Fernandes Black Label (coworker brought it back as a gift from her trip home to the caribbean). I say "soda" because my coworker had diet cola, where I used gingerale, because I wanted to taste the rum. I didn't drink it straight because we only had a small amount. Good stuff though, fer sure. My boss is out of the country half the year...and my supervisor brings booze in for meetings all the time, lol. It's only occasional, but a necessary way to deal with the intensity and pressure here.

The only time I ever drank at work was splitting a bottle of wine with a coworker at lunch. That afternoon sucked and was the crawlingest stretch of time in history.
