Oh for Firefly fans - Jewel Staite is going to be joining the cast of Atlantis. Replacing a character that I liked. So I am going to hate her from now on.

I'm psyched...but I agree with octothorpe. There are a lot of opportunities for them to explore some hardcore space adventure, but the drama aspect seems to be coming more into play. They should save that crap for "Caprica".

Also, my making the Cylons more like us, they actually have become less scary. I more like the idea of cold, calculating machines guided by philosophy completely alien to ours.

Yeah. Having Xena appear and be treacherous every now and then was pleasantly sinister. Now they've got her and Number 6 shagging Baltar every night.

This part of Season 3's reminding me of that bit halfway through Season 2 where every damn episode was about how horrible people are to each other when they're under duress. Like the one with the child sex trade. And the rape episode. We get the message already, now can we have some Viper dogfights, please?
