Goodbye Mr. Pigfield. Our guinea pig joined the choir invisible tonight, sometime during American Idol.[More:] He had been living at my married daughter's house. They brought him back to us tonight.

I guess he wanted to die here with us. Guys, he was just a doggone guinea pig, but he had a lot of history. I got him from the widow of the friend I had that died...it had been a gift to their youngest daughter but she turned out to be allergic.

I don't want any more animals.
So sorry :-( The dog I grew up with died this weekend. It's so sad to lose a pet.

I'm very sorry about that. I know how even those little pets' deaths can be so very hard.

During American Idol? I bet Mr. Pigfield offed himself. Some scary folks tonight.

RIP wee sir.

Green fields to the little guys.

My neighbor has an elderly dog who will soon join them. I think she is a little in denial about it. She joked today about how much longer it takes him to do his business when there is snow on the ground, but I think the snow is secondary at this point. He is so weak, he can hardly move. Still came over for a pat though.

Guineas are full of character and have the sweetest faces. You can't help but love them.

RIP Mr Pigfield.

My husband wants to bury him today. Meanwhile he's in a bag, in a box, on top of my washing machine out in the utility room.

It's freaking me out a little.

I'm sorry for your losses, bunnyfire and TPS. I've sometimes felt the loss of pets more strongly than some people.
Oh, and I love that phrase "choir invisible". Elegant.

Why is it so hard for some people to understand not wanting kids? || What's the most annoying thing, besides this question?
