Can I ask, what exactly happens when you check in on a deleted thread? Or is it like a memorial service dealie?


Whenever mefi goes down it's like when the dive bar across the street from my old dive bar used to get shut down...there'd be so many random people shuffling in, looking around, lamenting over when their bar would open up again. We'd tell them "soon, soon" and go back to our pints, and they would sit together in a cluster pretending they were across the street.

jrossi, I do not drink tea in general. But I found this kind of tea in Chinatown that is a league on its own. A new category. I love it. I drink it when I cannot drink more alcohol. Which is rarely.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Rub it in! I'm a tea-aholic, but I'm forbidden that, too, because my favorite herbals all have ingredients that are bad for pregs and the black teas I love have too much caffeine.

Whiskey's good for sore throats. It's good for everything, pretty much.

It's kept in a pizza box and apparently now it's moved from state to state so that no one's ever able to accurately pinpoint its location for evildoing. It may even be in Canada or Mexico at this point, but I don't think it actually ever leaves North America.

There may be an Exhibit three, wherein the server is moved to Texas, but I'm not aware of that.
