It was indeed a fun wedding. As you can maybe tell, I conducted the ceremony, the text of which the bride had written herself in Latin (Why? Because that's the kind of thing she'd do). The kilts were of course the groom's idea, and there was a piper on the grounds through the day. There was a hand binding ceremony. There was Polish love poetry from the bride's party. I gave a blessing in Hungarian. There was enough cabbage, sausage, and sour-cream based food at the reception for - well, a Polish wedding. (I tried to eat it all, and made a pretty credible showing). One of a kind? I'd say. I personally thought it was the best wedding I'd ever been to and unlikely to be surpassed.
