Bloke goes to pub, buys half a pint of lager, goes to toilet, turns off stopcock, removes urinal from wall, caps off the pipe, hides urinal in rucksack, leaves. If you're going to steal a urinal, this is the way to do it.
That is absolutely inspiring.

Waitaminute, half a pint of lager? why even bother drinking?

Made him need to piss faster. The rest was inspiration.

This begs the question: why?

Why not? Sometimes someone just needs a nice challenge.

The tenant of his new flat took the urinal with them when they moved out?

Seriously though when I get around to building my dream shop it's going to have a urinal in the bathroom. However you never see them at the Borg so where would you get one if you don't steal it.

Why? Have you ever tried to break in a new urinal on your own?

Slick. Presumably the bloke is a builder robbing to order - the only reason it's news is because it happened in Hampshire rather than, say, Sunderland.

Waitaminute, half a pint of lager?

Halves are totally hardcore - if you can bring yourself to order and drink one in a really rough pub, you're officially nails.

But is it art?

Wow. They really do have CCTV cameras everywhere in the UK now, don't they.

I nearly posted this just to say "someone's really taking the piss".

George_Spiggott: we're the heaviest users of CCTV in, I think, Europe. And yet we sleepwalk further into it due to public apathy and a shockingly high level of disinterest in politics. Here's a few links if you're interested:

...the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbours, films, football, beer, and above all, gambling, filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult. A few agents of the Thought Police moved always among them, spreading false rumours and marking down and eliminating the few individuals who were judged capable of becoming dangerous; but no attempt was made to indoctrinate them with the ideology of the Party. It was not desirable that the proles should have strong political feelings. All that was required of them was a primitive patriotism which could be appealed to whenever it was necessary to make them accept longer working-hours or shorter rations.
