I have grandma brain... but I did manage to upload another pic to my blog.[More:]

The iv thingee is just a precaution. Daughter's doc neglected to have her tested for Strep B last month (which is standard of practice) so both of them had to have iv antibiotics. She tested positive for it so good thing they did that.

I didn't much like her doc but he does have good delivery skills-I was there and kinda know enough to know he did very well. The shoulders of the baby were pretty big (just like my son's) so he had to deliver them carefully. My daughter had no episiotomy and only a small tear-pretty amazing considering the baby weighed 8 pounds and 5 oz. (Did I already say that?)

Anyway, I have been doing small goofy things for two days, but I'll just chalk it off to grandma brain.

I guess now I will be forced, FORCED I say, to have a Flickr account. Oh the humanity.
You gonna post a link, grandma?

Man. Babies are weird little things.

And yeah. You cannot escape your destiny. You must subscribe to Darth Flickr. Uh, again.

Yes, babies are odd.

Cute, but odd.

Oooooh...he is a cute little guy. Babies are awesome, but I am terrified of them until they can hold their heads up themselves. I also hate it when they cry when I am holding them--makes me feel helpless and inadequate.

Twiggy, babies are like horses-they sense fear. Heh.

I have learned to love the little bitty brand new ones the very best. They generally stay where you put them. Plus they snuggle real well. But holding one is a learned skill. Before I had my own I was totally terrified; once you have one you find out they are tougher than they look.

He's really cute!!! It's funny how fast you get used to juggling one of those things around.
