29 December 2006

I'm worried that the consistency, colour, texture, or whatever may not meet her standards, in which case I'd have to know what sort of diet to follow to prepare.
Shades of this, no?

It does sound like it came from that thread.

it would be fun to poop on someone, for old time's sake

LOL

Perhaps she has the kind of standards that could be met by my puppy's diet, in which every morning on our walks I can figure out which Christmas ornament, magazine or heirloom of value he ate the day before. It's a fun game! Particularly the couple days before I gated off the Christmas tree!

This was deleted in the actual thread (probably due to noise) so I'll post it here.

So, for anyone out there with first-hand experience or a wise word or anecdote to share, your thoughts are welcome.

Uh, good luck getting that info out of people.

I used to know a guy who would ask girls he dated if he could piss in their mouths when they were in the shower together. He wasn't serious, but he got a lot of glee out of telling people about the girls who agreed. Yeah, he was a asshole.

I've been shitting on MetaFilter for years now, and I'd have to say that yes, consistency is critical.

There was a moment when the number of people who had marked that thread as a favorite outnumbered the answers to the question. That can't happen often.

What a great line:

It started out innocently enough...she's into golden showers and we'd do our thing in the shower

I must have a sheltered life

Prospero, that's what inspired my comment. When I saw it, it was 7 favorites, 0 replies. Everybody was (or seemed to be) waiting eagerly to see who ponies up the anecdotes.

I would very much like to see a picture of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog posted in this thread.

Wow. Being a newbie, I had not read that thread until today. It is seriously the single most hilarious thing ever.

The thread was just posted today, that's why.

I love jessamyn's comment removal blurb:
[a few comments removed, in fact MOST comments removed, if you can't answer the question without HURF DURF POOP comments, maybe you can go help out in the rape consent thread or something? please stick to answering the question or feel free to take it to metatalk or email]
posted by deborah 29 December | 19:05
Yeah, but Jessamyn has appeared to have removed a comment by Dan Savage which several posts below that have referenced. Which is a bit annoying.

There was no actual comment from Dan Savage, TheDonF. (Althought that would be AWESOME.)Just a discussion of his position on the subject, which is well-known to his regular readers.

Perhaps the asker should just make this girl a nice kitty litter cake.

He's mentioned in an existing comment: "I tend to agree with Dan Savage--all lovers should be Good, Giving, and Game..."

(Also, just a reminder - conversation about MeFi moderation needs to happen at MetaTalk.)

I guess that'll show all those people who were saying all the relationship questions had already been asked.
posted by Mitheral 29 December | 19:55
LOL @ Mitheral.

My apologies, taz. I just thought it was funny, it wasn't a comment on what was or wasn't deleted. I haven't read the thread. Yet.

CKmtl writes "If you go ahead with it, and end up proposing to her, it could make for one of the most unique engagement ring presentations ever."

I can see the AskMe now:
How long does it take an undigestable object to pass thru the digestive track?[MI] Would gold or diamonds be damaged by the trip? Would I be at risk from a puncture from the setting? How do you clean a very dirty ring?
posted by Mitheral 30 December | 00:38
brina - are you talking about the "Imaginary Controversial AskMe Questions" thread? Because yeah, we rose quite a bit of ire with that one, although I think it remains an interesting thought experiment.

Similar but different - Stavros's link dump currently has 149 comments and 190 faves.
