That does sound pretty damn good. Their last album was a bit of a mis-step but this gives me some hope that they weren't a one-album pony. They also did a cover of Nirvana's Lithium

That "Lithium" cover is also on the EP I picked up today... I like the piano part at the end.

Old-fashioned CD or download EP? Also, any idea when the album's due out? The band's site hasn't been updated and I can't see anything on Amazon.

It was a CD I picked up today at a non-chain music store. It lists this website on the back, which seems to be album and band news, but they're still just saying "2007."

Meant to include: the CD is called "Wait"... I think it was download-only when it first came out, but (obviously) got a CD release at some point.

For some reason they never grew on me. Possibly because I was listening to WXPN a lot at the time and they played PS every other minute.

I have high hopes for PS as their drummer was in Man...Or Astroman?

My initial excitement about their debut CD has faded over time, mainly as a result of seeing them play live a couple times and being blown away. After hearing those wonderful voluminous arrangements in person, the stuff on the record sounds a bit watered down in comparison.

I hope they can capture some of that sonorous weightiness on the new album.
