It's Cliched to be Cynical at Christmas So, I went to see the mighty Half Man Half Biscuit last night and they were superb. Naturally they had to play this song and I thought I'd share it with you here. Be sure to share it with your favorite curmudgeon.

Would it be cliche of me to mention that I find all the people in the office who hand out the same card to everybody--only changing the name on the envelope--to be kind of lame? (Not that I, you know, did anything for them.)

Slack: that's been the reaction of most people I've told about this gig (not the Fred Titmus bit, the first bit). Their most recent album, Achtung Bono, is probably their best yet. Once you've heard Joy Division Oven Gloves you'll never be the same.
