"So we should go back to the kitten standard? I'm confused!"
posted by goodnewsfortheinsane 17 December
There has never been a "kitten standard," because, as the Chinese sensibly observe, kittens have entirely different economic utilities, depending on whether you view them as pets or meat. It's clear that you're having trouble with this discussion, goodnewsfortheinsane. Perhaps you stop fretting and let your simple sweetness shine through.
Actually, paulsc, there is a simple solution to that problem. Kittens are wonderful, cuddly, cute and adorable right up to a certain age, when they become cats. That is the point when they change from being pets to being meat.
All the best ideas are simple ones. But you wimmen folk shouldn't worry your pretty heads about all this finance talk - you just leave that to the men. Now, how about fetching me my slippers and pipe so I can relax while you cook dinner?
Harry Enfield was only really funny when Paul Whitehouse was working with him (both were in that clip). He seems to have disappeared over the last few years which, to be honest, is a good thing. Whitehouse did a few series of The Fast Show which was really funny. As to whether it would stand up now, though, is an interesting question.
