Welcome Christmas : This is the song sung by the Whos of Whoville on Christmas (Dr. Seuss) as you probably have never heard it before. The band is 'Love Spirals Downwards".
I like this. Thanks.

Crud. This would have been a good song for my annual Christmas Mix CD. Oh, well...

Rad. I kind of sort of know Love Spirals Downwards. They got a small part of their start at the university public radio station I volunteered and DJ'ed at - the rest is raw talent and niceness all the way. They did a few tracks for a two disc IDM comp an old friend put out as a fund raiser for the station. Nice, nice kids, v. talented and complex, interesting ideas.

My god that was good. An excellent companion to Aimee Mann's "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" on her new Xmas album.

By utter coinkydink, my iTunes followed it with Low's "Little Drummer Boy" ....

I always thought it would be better if it was 'TheWhoVille' and Townshend, Entwistle, Daltrey & Moon lived down in the village with a bunch of roadies and ran around drinking whiskey, snorting coke and thrashing stuff and then defeated the Grinch with a well-swung Rickenbacker.
