I don't believe I've ever had anyone get that question wrong before.
Classic case over over-thinking. Dear dear.

True-false tests, wolfdog? For shame!

Classic case of "barely functioning".

muddgirl: sorry, no shame here. It's not a true/false test; it's 5 true/false questions amounting to a few points on a much larger and very carefully considered test. They're in true/false format partly because that affords a little variety, but mainly because those questions have true/false answers, which should be quickly and assuredly recognized at this point. There's no "Aw, you sort of knew what's going on" partial credit that's appropriate.

I dunno, IRFH, sometimes my over-thinking loops around itself, producing multiple values of Y at X.

My thinking is usually pretty derivative.

(eep, I was messing around!)

...yeah...but I was pretty confused by that last question. I read it 3-4 times before I realized, "Oh, it's one of those 'free points' questions."

I'm apparantly bad at tests.

Yeah, I kinda figured you were teasing and gave you a serious answer anyway. For the record, I'm not taking any points off on such a silly question; I was just... surprised. Generally that one gets answers like "So True!!" or "Hell yeah!" or even ":)".

Daughter is free falling in chemistry. I am going to hire a tutor. . she will not like it. . .but she'll thank me at some point in her life.

For some reason, I think (c) and (e) are wrong on that test. But it's been almost 10 years since I've done any calculus, so I'm probably dumb now. :(

Heck is a euphemism for H-E-doublehockeysticks.
