This post has really put me in a good mood. I am so lucky to be doing exactly what I want to do with my life!→[More:]
Here I am in another country, doing pretty well - the nutteries at my work may think I'm weird but they still want to do my Project; my Better Half loves me a bunch even though I am frightfully insecure, and best of all, I'm doing exactly what I want to do with my life activism wise!

I've been all over the globe with all sorts of people, I've been at historic street battles, I've translated for a socialist newspaper abroad, I was in the gallery at George Galloway's famous speech before a Senate hearing, and right now I'm in the zone! I'm working with awesome people and learning shitloads, and getting and giving respect and appreciation. I am ecstatically lucky and grateful.

I'm getting free booze on the company dime at the Dumbco Xmas party tonight. And I get to watch some of my weirder co-workers deck themselves out like it's the goddam social event of the year. There's free food, too. Last year they had some of that school cafeteria pizza. Yum.

So, like, I guess I'm grateful for that.
