Oh wow, Patty Griffin is amazing. My favourite album of hers is 1000 Kisses, which contains some absolute classics. The latest one is good, but not as good. Don't be put off by the Dixie Chicks patronage, her originals (although being released after the Chicks's versions) are far superior.
