went to taco bell [More:]

Mainly because I was really wanting some Mountain Dew. Got some tacos. Three of them. Asked for some hot sauce. When the girl gave me the bag I saw that I had a LOT of hot sauce. I counted packets when I got home. 27. Yes, she gave me 27 packets of hot sauce for three tacos.
Now, you won't need hot sauce for a long time. This is good, no?

This reminded me of the best headline I've seen today:

Thousands of Taco Bells Toss Green Onions

Lucky. When I go to taco bell and ask for hot sauce, they either give me mild sauce or no sauce at all! This has happened the last 3 times!

weretable done stole your sauce!

There is no Taco Bell within miles of me. And yet, I want me some tacos...I really really want me some tacos....

The number of taco bell sauces you receive is entirely random. In some suburbs, it has become the basis for severely complex betting games; millions of dollars has changed hands at the whim of Taco Bell drive-thru employees.

I have never eaten at Taco Bell.

There are half-assed Taco Bells up here, or as I like to call them: Toxic Belches, but they don't have the good stuff.

Seriously, Specklet? Never? How does that happen.

I really, really want a taco right now. I love tacos. Tacos are pretty great.

Wait, you don't get the McRib, but you eat Taco Bell? It's not like I like the McRib (actually, I've never tasted one), but IMO, Taco Bell is like the McRib of tacos.

I feel sorry for those that live in places where Taco Hell is the only option for a taco fix.

/taco snob.

Taco Bell is better than a lot of fast food. Plain crunchy tacos are cheap and basically just lettuce, shell, meat. So you know what you are eating anyway.

Obviously I could make them myself and they would be better thany anything you will find at ANY fast food place anywhere, but that kinda goes against the whole purpose of fast food.

Stop talking about the TACOS! Tacos that I have zero opportunity to eat in the next 12 hours! I'm going taco-crazy!
posted by typewriter 06 December | 18:59
Taco Bell uses a modified caulking gun to dispense meat.

I don't care what's in 'em, I love me some Taco Bell. Damn. I'm hungry now too.

Hmmm... I think the drive-thru is open 'til 3 am...

just lettuce, shell, meat

Shouldn't that be "lettuce, shell, meat?"

I kid, and yeah, living in Dallas gives me the air of taco-snobbery, but damn, doesn't Arkansas at least have Taco Bueno if not Taco Cabana? Both are fast food and much, much better than the Bell.

There are a lot of little places in surrounding towns that I am not familiar with, so possibly. But there are neither of those within short driving distance if there are indeed any in NW Arkansas at all.

Oh ufez, don't mention Taco Cabana. It's one of the few things I miss about Texas. *sob*

Gotcha weretable. Don't let my taco snobbery come off as Arkansas bashing. I grew up in Tulsa and went to Arkansas frequently. It's a gorgeous area.

Sorry deborah. Taco C is actually what we wound up grabbing last night for dinner!
