I had a mixed weekend ... →[More:]My son had his 4th birthday party on Sunday and, while managing 23 screaming 4 year-olds isn't my idea of fun, he had a ball and it was great to see al the kids enjoying themselves.

However, Saturday wasn't quite so much fun. I was playing with the kids when I ran along along the lawn and jumped onto the trampoline in a sitting position, which I have done many many times before. This time, however, I must have misjudged something and caught my finger in one of the springs. I spent the evening in the emergency department, which was not quite as much fun as a birthday party.

Urgh. I've seen a lot of trampoline injuries, and caused a few, too... but me no clicky finger pix.

Now, don't we have a goat-on-a-trampoline video around here somewhere? *starts opening cupboards and looking under the furniture*

Ah, it's not that bad. Just a bit of blood and stuff. I only got five stitches and should have full use of the finger again in a couple of months. I've had a lot worse before and probably will again.

Heh. I was thinking that the Mrs. took pictures for some future Photo Friday. "Wounds, Stitches, and Gore". Tee Hee.

I really hope you heal fast, but it probably looked worse pre-stitches than it does now.
