Chicken Fried Beef Tenderloin with White Onion Gravy (Served with Tiny Icebox Rolls).

Chicken fried steak by any other name is still white trash breakfast. This is a pretty carb/fat heavy menu.

I strongly dislike Laura Bush, but I can't fault them for putting out a lavish holiday spread. It's Christmas. It's the White House. They can't exactly get away with bowls of Chex Mix. (Although I do love me some Chex Mix.)

I just saw a piece on Sunday Morning on CBS about the executive chef of the WH a week or two ago. She is the first female EC of the WH ever! And the samples she showed looked absolutely incredible! I don't like Mr & Mrs Bush too much either, but I wouldn't refuse an invite to dinner.
