The lamest Ask Mecha ever! It involves wallpaper images for my desktop...→[More:]SO, about six months ago I was looking for a cool background for my desktop and somewhere in the metaverse I found the coolest site ever and got all these backgrounds like robots and weird art deco-ish images...the whole site was just chock full o' cool illustrated backgrounds.

What was it? Anyone? Can't find it on AxMe. Googling "wallpaper" "desktop backgrounds" etc etc is a suckers game.
*stamps foot in frustration*

It probably is pixel girl - thanks for reminding me, richat; I had forgotten about it!

I like veer as well. Click the year links up top for lots more designs - 2005 and 2004 are my favorites.

Veer is one of my favorites. I'm not at home, so I don't have my bookmarks, but I do want to recommend mandolux to wallpaper junkies - especially if you have two or more monitors.
