There's been a lot of sadness and anger in Mecha today; this fits the sad mood and will hopefully chill some people out.

Specklet: it's one of my favourite albums as well - I don't think there's a bad track on it. I remember one day at work a few years ago (before the "no listening to music" rule) listening to I Dream A Highway repeatedly for about 3 hours.

The last few days seemed to go from "yay, 4 day weekend!" to stories of family arguments, illness, surgery, accidents, stress, war casualties, death; and that is incredibly sad.

FB: you're right - it's gorgeous, spare and perfect. I've listened to it twice in a row now. Once more, then I'm going to bed. "I dream a highway back to you, love, a winding river with a band of gold"
