Odd. I have been made the admin of a flickr group I don't remember joining.→[More:]

Saw this in my flickr mail this morning:

The last administrator of [NSFWish flickr group] has left the group and you have been made into an administrator. This is because you are the longest serving member of the group. Well done :)

I don't remember ever joining this group, though I may have since I join lots of groups related to this particular interest of mine. I've certainly never participated in it.

When I view the members list, it says "You've been a member ... since 25th November, 2006" which is the same day flickr (apparently automatically) made me admin.

Is anybody familiar with this auto-admin "feature"? I don't think I want to be admin, but I don't see any harm in it either.

Odd way to handle things.
