Mixed update.. Daddy had to have fluid drained by needle since his blood pressure wasn't high enough. His breathing is better--he has a thing with balls that he blows into and he was able to get all of them up today--but there's something wrong with his kidneys. He also had to have something called cardiovercion (?) where he was put out for five minutes and shocked, but he said he felt better afterwards. I told my mother I wanted to be alone with him for a few minutes, but I had to wait until she left, which wasn't for several hours. (more)

Also his blood sugar is too high. He's not diabetic, but he had to be given insulin because of the sugery.

The woman I was seeing for acupuncture here finally returned my call, but I won't be able to see her.

I found out in the NY Times that two people I know got married and I wish I were close enought to people to be included at weddings

i'm not sure what to say except:
because of your name, i have scared spanish speaking people by telling them i was not a bruja, but maybe just a little, just a brujita, being extra high pitched at the hee part.

i, also, while not a gamer, enjoy calling a Wii a "Wheee!!!!" in a similar high pitched tone.

That he can get his balls in the air is a good sign, no? ;-)

And I sometimes don't get invited to things either, brujita, but hear about them later. It's a sucky feeling.
