The Earthaven folks could be compared and contrasted with another Carolinas enviroguy, except that I forget the name of the book I read about him. It was written by a young woman who stayed with him for a while. He was into buckskin pants. Ringing a bell for anybody?

I do remember that guy, box - he was getting quite a lot of press there for a while in like 03? Somewhere in there, but my google fu is failing me again, sigh. Pity, because he's a serious loon and I would enjoy poking fun at discussing him here. ;-)

I've met a few Earthhaven people - they're a little serious for my taste but all right for all that; hell, it's refreshing to see aging baby boomers around here who aren't building 6000 square foot ridgetop houses to park their 5 SUVs at, anyway.
