$3K???? I can't believe it. Well, I couldn't believe the people camping out in the Future Shop lobby the other day either. For a game console. And one that costs like $800 bucks too. I wanted to ask them "Hey! Guys!! So, like, when was the last time you actually kissed a girl? Like a real girl with real girl things on her, and not just your character in-game? Huh??", but they can get hella uppity when riled, and worse: they're sleeping on a marble floor, so the cold makes 'em irritable and unpredictable.

He won't. I have seen them go for less than 1500 and most are ending up around or just under 2000, I suspect the prices will slowly drop as more and more of the folks crazy enough to pay that much already have one.
I'm not so sure about that weretable. As we get closer to Xmas and the begging of millions of kids gets stronger, many parents will be turning to ebay and bending over for this guy.
A kid in line at my local mall was offered $2000 for HIS PLACE IN LINE. He turned it down. Fanbois FTW! In other news, my safely pre-ordered Wii will be available for pick-up in approximately 5 1/2 hours, but if any Mechazens are prepared to offer +$2K, I'll take offers.
Oh, sure, $110K is totally reasonable, especially when ("400,000 shipped to US, which is almost half of their original 700,000 they had planned.") math is so hard.
