LT Goes Sailing For The First Time Ever! →[More:] Beautiful pics from my first-ever time on a sailboat. Miko and I and our good friend Captain Tim went out yesterday afternoon and sailed around Portsmouth Harbour until sunset. Beautiful day, perfect weather, and our boat got up over 7 knots at one point. (Which I guess is a lot...beats me, but we were flying along with the boat at nearly a 45-degree angle.)

Sailing is da best. But you have to have to try the greek islands in the summer or better yet in September. I have not sailed in the north east but I did some in the Gulf of Mex waters. It was pretty but not the same....

Don't worry, they'll get over it and start bitching about one another's bad habits soon enough. Let them have their illusions of happiness for a while longer - the disillusion phase lasts plenty long enough as it is.

My disillusion phase lasted about the first 35 years of my life.
Don't get me wrong - I'm seriously very very happy for both of you. After 45 years of it, I despair of ever feeling anything other than disilluioned myself, but am glad when others do better. Expecially when they deserve it as much as you two seem to.
