A friend of mine in Ohio was given a goose as a moving in gift by a neighbour. A few months later she learned from another neighbour that there was concern amongst some of the local ladies, because her goose remained naked throughout the changing holiday seasons. The most heinous oversight was not dressing it in an OSU costume on football days.
Years ago, before lawn geese were so popular, I must admit I was impressed by one I would see on my way to work. My favorite outfit was the yellow rain coat and hat. But much of what I've seen since look a bit cheesy in comparison.
