The alkie's equivalent of a drinking game →[More:]At the AA party I went to this evening there was lots of nice food, including a couple of trays laden with little meringues sandwiched together with cream, and cream-filled, chocolate profiteroles.

"I bet you can't fit one each of those in your mouth in one go."

"I bet I can!"

And I have no idea what a profiterole is, but I do want one (plate of them).

Profiteroles. Little choux pastry buns filled with cream and covered with chocolate sauce. The ones we had tonight had more chocolate than these.

Those are like...cream puffs. Eclairs are oblong.
