P.S.A. Please update the email address in your profile. Can you please make sure that the email address in your profile is valid. →[More:] Click "Profile" above to change your current email address, update your "show email" settings then click on "Update".

As before, people who are not logged in will never see your email address. If however, you don't want other metachat site members to see your email address then ensure the "show email" tickbox is kept unticked. This is unticked by default, so you'll also need to tick it if you'd like to share that information.

Please note that administrators and moderators can always see the email address held against your profile.

Moderators should also make sure that they have the "show emails" checkbox ticked.

I tried to update my profile and it says: "You are not logged in under the same account you are trying to modify." Then i logged out and back in and it did the same thing.

OK. So, spaces in the username may be a problem. I'll check that out later. If your email is valid, then you're fine. If you want to receive "new reply" emails then you need to tick the "Notifications" tickbox again. I've unticked all these as part of the recent change.

yeah i didn't even realize I had a space in my name until I tried to login without it. But I didn't have to change anything so it's all good.

Oh. seanyboy, I didn't even consider checking either of those boxes when I quick glanced at my profile because the grey text makes it look as if the options are disabled. Just fyi.
