Tabasco isn't even in the same league; you'll ruin any pho if you dump anything more than a a few tablespoons of it in. Tabasco cheats like most tex-mex with acidity not caliente.

Siracha is good but most hole-in-the-wall nuoc cham will blow it away.

I eat that stuff all the time. I don't think it's that spicy, but apparently I have a high tolerance for spice.

And I've always called it HOT cock sauce.
