I like John Denver (yes, I will admit that), and while I really enjoyed the rhythm, the vocals left a little something to be desired. Still cool, though.

I like John Denver, too. (and I ain't ashamed either), but the group that did that is one of the most underrated groups of all time. They would cover at least one country/folk chestnut per album. They're original compositions are astounding. "White Lies" and "Broken Whiskey Glass" are probably their best.
