And easier to just get a new stove. (Though not very cost-effective.)

I'm trying desperately to keep the surface of our new stove (our landlord finally coughed one up, fearing a possible fireball from the ol' 1914 model). I keep paper towel handy while I cook and whipe, whipe, whipe the red splatter specks from the white, white porcelain. It's tell-tale heart madness, I tell you. I'm minutes from confession.

(Hmmm... take-out sounds good...)
