i like the new doctor. Was not crazy about the last one, but I like this one.
I went to the doctor today because my normal doctor was gone. My normal doctor, when I went in for my first physical with him and I told him I had some hearing loss, said "what?" He is a good doctor but a wiseass and he annoys me. I like this new doctor very much even though his regular practice is about ten more miles up the road from me. I'll see if I can keep him.
I recently saw a new doctor and she seemed great. I scheduled a follow-on appointment, but the office called and told me she had a family situation and was no longer working at that practice. So I rescheduled with the doctor to whom I was originally referred but wasn't taking new patients. I have no idea what happened with the doctor I first saw, but I hope she and her family are ok. I didn't know her well enough to feel any particular emotions about her situation, but it does give me a melancholy feeling about the vast number of people who've passed in and out of my life and moved on to who knows what.
weretable - you mean Tennant right? He's pretty good. Have you seen all of the 2006 episodes? Not bad... Looking forward to "The Runaway Bride" at xmas, too.
yeah tennant's a very good doctor. the only minor quibble i've had with his series is that i do think some of the dialogue was a bit rubbish and a little too repetitive (not tennant's fault obviously). having said that the big cyberman story made the whole series well worth it.
doctor who spin-off torchwood starts over here tomorrow night. some of the early reviews have said it's quite good. we shall see....
My primary doctor was the one who was hit while on his bike a few months ago in NY, so I have to find a new one. I only saw him once, but I didn't like him. My insurance(Empire) is point-of service, but I still have to go through the gatekeeping bullshit if I want to see a doctor who specializes in a particular area--grrr. Any Manhattan bunnies happy with their GP?
