I had brunch with Jimmie Dale in 1996. He performed at a Voters for Choice concert I worked the night before; and joined some of us for brunch in Dupont Circle the next morning. He was/is really nice. I don't remember all that much other than it was a freakin cold January morning and we walked for blocks and blocks to find the place... and the restaurant's name escapes me. Oh, and JDG wore a really cool long leather coat that I so wanted.
