I am in love with a gay man ... [More:]... my new hairdresser. I had it cut and highlighted today, and am delighted with the result. It was (for me) breathtakingly expensive (£80 - or about $150) but the different in this and anything else I've ever had done to it in the past is phenomenal. The man is a magician.

Before

And After.
Wow! Lovely! I'm now also in love with your hairdresser. Menage a trois?

That is truly a nice job with the hair, but what the hell are you eating in that first picture?

nice do, jan!

Me too, I am devoted to my (gay) hairdresser Morgan in the west Village. By now we are actually good friends and talk things out (not just hairs). Come to think of it, this is the longest, steadiest and most unwavering relationship I have with a man. And he is gay. Go figure.

Seriously though, he did a great job Jan! I want to run my fingers through that hair. Also, are those some new Ikea products in the background?

I am letting my hair and beard grow out to see what a gay gay can do with me. ;-P

I love it! It is very flattering and attractive, but it's not like you needed any help with that in the first place!

No Ikea stuff, pie, that's old stuff. And, thanks, goml, but it was so shapeless that whatever I did with it, it looked flat. I know it'll never look like this when I style it myself, but with the layers cut into the back, I can give it some volume.

You'd think evolution would've made us all bald by now, huh?

Trivia: Morrissey and I were born on the same day, same year.

A: You're beautiful, essexjan. I like the new haircut.

B: I love your ceiling texture.

C: My husband shares the same year/day birthday as Brian Boytano.

OK, somebody photoshop Ceiling Cat into the pic where you can see my living room ceiling.

Very nice and flattering, EJ. He did a great job! (Though I am envious of your curls)

I believe you deserve the same rights as a normal person.

cmonkey, that is truly awesome. And my new desktop wallpaper, until I get sick of the sight of myself and put Ricky (my beloved now-deceased cat) back on the desktop.

I'm in love with all gay men.

I am beyond jealous, essexjan. I'm in the process of letting my hair grow longer and I can only hope it looks half as good at some point!

that's a good cut for letting your curls go wild!!

Hot damn!

Reminds me that I need a haircut, but I'm trying to grow it out past that "I'm actually trying to grow it out but I keep getting haircuts" stage, so I'm hiding from scissors.

Wow EJ it looks great!

You don't need to do anything with your hair to find that out ;-)
