I like Hebrew people and Hawaiian people and I like thier music. But both their languages have too many damned apostrophes.
You're just a rabid anti-apostraphite. . .that's what YOU are!

It's not the apostrophes that are the problem - it's too many letters for the amount of sound that comes out. Like French, kinda.

You don't have to type them, chewie. I worked on a Hawaiian pop CD and a Hassidic Music CD back to back today. Apostrophes all over the place like ants at a picnic. I think I developed a mental stutter.

Well, in the case of Hebrew anyway, it's the English transliterations where you're seeing the apostrophes, not in actual Hebrew writing (which doesn't use apostrophes, although Hebrew vowels look like punctuation). So, don't blame the Hebrew, blame the English... transliterator (if that's a word).
