Stock up now, I am going to buy every Tastykake in PA! →[More:]I will be in the Philadelphia/Pocono Mountains area from Tuesday, 10/24 through Tuesday, 10/31.

I'm just sayin'... Watch your Tasty's - they won't be safe with me around...

I have a bad memory attached to Tastykakes. Back in my bookstore days, we had this horrible boss and nobody could stand her. We even toyed with the idea of going online and having incontinence supply catalogs delivered to her office registered mail. The capper was at Xmas when in our mailboxes, she gave us all Tastykakes! Wouldn't even spring for Little Debbies, dammit. Besides, I was 27, not 7, you wanna motivate me give me booze, not cakes. Especially not the German ones with the damn coconut. Bleh.

Not long after that I tried to unionize the place (for other reasons) and they sent her packing.

MUST HAVES:

Cream filled koffee Kake cupcakes (many boxes)

Chocolate cream filled Krimpets

Sensables orange finger kakes

Cream filled Krimpets

Cream filled butter cream iced chocolate cupcakes

WOULD BE NICE... IF THERE IS ROOM IN THE BOX:

Pies: French apple, blueberry are my favorites ... then: Tastyklair, strawberry, apple, cherry

LEAST OF MY FAVORITES:

Raspberry koffee kake cupcakes

Jelly Krimpets

Banana Kreamies

No KandyKakes, goml? I must admit, the TastyKake lost a little something when they stopped packaging them in wax paper and you no longer had to rub the package against your leg to keep the icing from sticking.
