Decent Christian Blogs/Websites? Does anyone have any recommendations for good Christian blogs or websites?→[More:] My Dad wants me to show him some Christian websites tomorrow. I know next to nothing about that other than I know there are Christian groups congregating somewhere on the web. I'm sure there's a good resource page somewhere that lists worthwhile sites but anything I've googled has yielded mostly crazy sites and/or crazy people.

I'm hoping for a community website where Dad could interact with others (jcfilter? JChri?). Decent feel good faith based stuff. I'm hoping to avoid anything over the top religious and hell fiery/end of the worldish.

belief.net? It's not exclusively Christian, but there's plenty of good religious oriented content and discussion.

I have over 10,000 posts on BeliefNet. There are countless forums there, with something for everyone.

Another site I enjoy is Ship of Fools. I believe they are an outreach of the Methodist Church of England.

They actually had an online church that held live services for a while. They lost support for it, then spun it off(Church of Fools. It was actually quite interesting while it lasted.

I like the National Catholic Reporter's newspaper. It's pretty lefty, if that's a problem. I haven't checked out their forums or anything.

A progressive, Christian friend recommended Sojourners.

I am not sure if they have an online community.

ummm..I live in Skandinavia and understand a lot, but what is a progessive christian?

Is that kind of like mainstream with belief in god?
