A friend of mine who worked in one of my favourite service-with-a-sneer establishments used to say that a lot--it's short for 'go pound salt up your ass'. Not that I recommend you try that out. At least not at work.

I'm gonna be uncharacteristically nice and thank you all for a nice bit o' chat today.
Now i have to dress my newly strained muscles and lark about with those made of meat, as salty as they may be.
