okay, in all seriousness...only this wagnerian soprano can master the pathos of strauss' salome. i've heard it sung from a few others, and they all bring different aspects to this complicated and diverse role, but nilsson plays it perfectly.

again, as a soprano who could literally shatter windows with her voice, she phrases 'Ich habe deinen' with perfect color, power, control, etc...
