I did that a few days ago, so I got nothing. I usually get out the canned air spray out a bunch of crumbs and hair. Nasty. I tried to pop my spacebar out to get more nastiness out but then I found out what a pain in the ass getting the little metal bar back into the slots is.

For the longest time I used a Virtually Indestructable Keyboard and man it was good. To clean, just wipe down with a wet cloth. And it rolls up! After a few years some of the keys started going out and I realized that you can't actually get in the thing to fix it, so I had to retire it and go back to a regular, shitty keyboard. I need to buy another one of those.

Ha! I got nothing in my keyboard. But that's only because I spilt a little tea on the number pad and it quit working and I use it all the time for quick-keys. So I walked apologetically to admit my sin. I got a new keyboard and watched as the tech guy ran the keyboard under some running water and hung it up to dry. It's an Apple keyboard. No promise that this will work with PC. And make sure it thoroughly dry before plugging it in.

I've heard that you can put keyboards in the dish washing machine and use them as long as you let it dry out. I've never tried it but I've been told that by a lot of people.
