Grohl is consistantly one of my favorite rock stars. He seems like he never drifted very far from being an enthusiastic fan, which is pretty uncommon once you pass the platinum mark.

Grohl is great. He managed to get out of the whole Courtney Love Kurt thing and forge a new path towards great music. Sigh. He deserved fame...

I just wish they had not started supporting that stupid group that says HIV does not lead to AIDS. They have stopped being as vocal in support after a decent backlash from fans and the medical community, but the FF site still has a link to their web site.

Not so pleased with Probot or the taking of some SDRE folks, but otherwise he gets a pass for the minor stuff* and a plus for the miner stuff.

Grohl's drumwork on the latest NIN album was superb. Why oh why this man has to pick up a guitar and become merely ordinary is beyond me.

Not that I objected to his acoustic "Times Like These", which I saw him do live at a Kerry event in Madison.

But, yeah, anybody who can make the Low video can't have too high an opinion of himself...

Actually with the whole new look, a few people have told me I look live Dave Grohl. A few others have said Dave Navarro. I prefer Navarro, I think.
