I FOUND MY IPOD! IT WAS HIDING OUT BEHIND SOME BOOKS FOR MORE THAN A MONTH, NAUGHTY IPOD. CUTE LITTLE ONE GIG BLACK NANO. NOW I CAN DROWN OUT THE ANNOYING TEACHERS IN THE BREAKROOM. HOORAY!

My doctor says that my back problem appears be a muscle problem (not a spinal cord problem). hoo-RAY!

Hooray! I gave notice yesterday to Boss A. He's supportive of the transition AND he want's to retain me as a consultant in the future. Boss B gets me a week early and so can take his vacation without worrying.

Yesterday, I was so uptight about how this was going to play, I got dizzy and felt like I was going to faint a couple of times. By the end of the day, I was wrung out like a sponge. Yet this morning my blood pressure was sitting on the high end of normal (which is where it usually is.)

Hooray! My remortgage completes tomorrow, so I'll be able (at last) to have a new bathroom and get my windows repaired. If there's any money left over, I'll be able to redecorate and maybe get some nice fitted wardrobes in my bedroom. Hooray!!

Pips: back in the day we had to use a Walkman, which played a cassette tape. Those suckers were much harder to loose than a cute little 'pod.

Hooray! I got the lawn mowed before the rains start! Hooray!

(Pips, one friend of mine gave birth at 42, another at 45! Both without the aid of reproductive technology-the forty-five year old wasn't even trying. Heh. Her only other kid was in his early twenties. They were happy, tho.)

HOORAY! VEGAS IN THREE WEEKS! (Watch out for Vegas fever!)

And thanks, bunnyfire... I've been hearing about a lot of such cases, lately, including a piece on the Sunday Morning Show about Susan Sarandon, who had her last two at 41 and 45. The doc mentioned Clomid to stimulate ovulation. Seems promising, if we decide. (Someone splash some water on jon... I think he just fainted ; )
